Just to let you all know we went to the doctor today and he said that Gabe looks better. We had another blood test run and the red platelet count went from 9 to 10.1. Normal is 10.5 and above. So we have to keep him on the iron supplements and he has to go back in another month. If the count is up where it needs to be he is going to stop the supplements and see if his body can maintain it on his own. If it doesn't there may be something else that needs to be considered and they are going to do more tests. So right now we are going to pump him with iron. It doesn't seem to bother him. He is the same little wild guy that he has been from the beginning. We will keep you posted.
