Going...Going...SOLD!!

After 12 days - and only 2 different people walking through our house, it sold for FULL asking price. Even better yet - the couple is older and is paying cash! Which of course means we don't have wait for them to get financing approval. But wait...there's more! They aren't requiring us to do an appraisal which will lower our closing costs! Good news: 1 - We made good $$$ on our house, 2 - I don't have to finish the flower beds including digging up some serious weeds, 3 - we don't have to worry about selling our house before we build our new house! Bad news: we have to be OUT in 2 WEEKS!! And Paul is gone all this week to Alaska! Crazy Crazy Crazy. We feel so blessed. We are glad a good family is coming in, and they seem really, really, excited. So now it is time for apartment hunting. We think we found a good one in Orem that we will live at until about Dec. when we expect our house will be finished.
