Give me a Cheeser

One of my favorite things is when I ask Gabe to smile and he gives me all he's got. It is so funny. It looks more like he is puckering up than smiling at me. If I ask him to show me teeth he does the same thing, but then shows his teeth as well.

One of my other favorite things is when Noah tells us that he loves with saying that he wants a new car. Let me explain. A game that Paul and I play is we say, " Noah, guess what?" and then we say, " I love you!" Well he says, " Daddy, guess what?" Now you think that he would repeat what his parents just said to him, but instead he says," I want a new car!" We just laugh and tell him that we love him too. He is growing up so much. And saying so many new things.

( Here is a picture of Noah crossing his eyes. A favorite things of his lately.)

Paul gave him a Father's Blessing for his birthday and afterwards he flashed his big smile and said, "I'm baptized now." We had to first express our gratitude to him for wanting to be baptized, but then explain to him that he has to wait a little bit. (Just to clarify why he would think that. In the blessing Paul mentioned something about continuing to grow to be baptized and we have a book that we borrowed from my mom that is about Prayer and in it there is a little boy being confirmed after his baptism and it explains that members of the priesthood lay their hands on our heads after we are baptized and say a prayer.) That took longer than I thought.
