Baseball and Barbeques

I think that it is safe to say that this has been the best Saturday that we've had in a long time. It started off with Paul making me breakfast in bed for an early Mother's Day gift (since our church starts at 9 am). Then we got dressed and headed down to BYU for a tailgate party for Young Alumni of BYU that had graduated within the last 10 years and ate hot dogs and chips from J. Dawgs, had our faces painted (Gabe a baseball and me a Y), and met Cosmo the Cougar. Noah was a little nervous about meeting him at first, but then Cosmo gave him knuckles and he was immediately his best friend.




After lunch we went across the street to the baseball field to watch BYU play the San Diego Aztecs. It as a lot of fun and the boys really enjoyed watching it. Here is Noah "whistling" to cheer the cougars on. He puts his finger in his mouth and makes a high-pitched noise with his mouth closed. Gabe thought that it looked fun, so, of course, he had to do it too.


After the game we came home and had a bbq with my family. Heather, my sister, and her husband Mark went to Houston and my mom is watching her kids for the weekend and they all came over. The boys were so excited to play with their cousins. Dave, Andrea, Blake, and Lisa came too. We ate barbequed hamburgers, salad, chips, cookies, ice cream, and lemonade. I am so glad that the weather was so beautiful today and we were able to enjoy the shining sun. I am so excited for the warmth so that we can go out and play, open the windows, and start swimming and going to parks. HHHmmmmmmm!! I love to play outside.
