Last weekend were finally able to plant flowers in the 3 flower beds in our front yard. The boys love to be outside and work in the yard. Planting flowers in one thing that we all look forward to in the spring.
After spending the morning planting flowers we went up to Salt Lake to the Cheesecake Factory. Paul and I split the Chicken Madera and Steak Diane dish. I think I would have to say that it was close to the best steak that I have ever eaten. Mmmm-mmmm!! If you have never been there it is definitely a must for date night (not to mention the cheesecake is heavenly). After eating, the boys went home with Grandma Carole and Grandpa to Layton to spend the weekend.
Paul and I went back to Lehi and watched Iron Man. Definitely something worth watching in the theater.

Sounds like a fun family day. the flowers look great and I loved seeing the boys helping. I have heard that iron man is good. We are going to have to see it.

The blackout cake from Cheesecake Factory is my favorite dessert ever! There was one 10 minutes from our house in CA before we moved and I had withdrawals when we moved here. Salt Lake is NOT too far to go for good food!
I drove by your house the other day on my way home from somewhere and saw your cute yard, isn't it so nice to have it in?? Just wait until you get your fence and then you can let the kids go outside where they can't empty out your spice drawer, you'll love it!
I love the Cheesecake Factory! I've only been once, but it was so delicious, I can't wait to go back......
Love that you guys all work in the yard together...my kids actually think weeding is fun because we do it together!!!
What a fun date for you guys. We loved that movie. And I totally agree - it needs to be seen in the theater.
