Okay, so this isn't the best picture, but it is the best one of the 2 that we got. Let me just tell you that Girl's Camp this year was something that we are all going to remember for a long time.
-TUESDAY morning we all met up to get everything loaded and get going up to girl's camp to start off the week. We got up there and set everything up. It was warm when we to meet with the stake and we all got sunburned sitting at the amphitheater. Later that day as we were doing some certification clouds rolled in, the temperature about 10-15 degrees and started to rain. We all put on our warm gear and continued with our day.
-WEDNESDAY we got up (after a long restless, almost sleepless night) to fix breakfast and around 8:30 or 9 am the snow started to fall. I didn't get pics of it, but it was pretty crazy. Especially since it didn't cease and started to fall thicker and we all huddled in our cars to get warm. After a while (about 2 hours) we went down to talk to the stake leaders to find out what they wanted us to do. We ended up under some of their heavy duty garage-like tarps to do some of our devotionals and eat lunch. Around 2 pm the snow stopped and it turned out to be a beautiful rest of the day.
-THURSDAY we woke up to another layer of snow, but it soon melted and the rest of the day was really nice and we were able to get a lot done. That night was filled with a beautiful sky of stars. It was still pretty cold, but the Bishopric came and we had a very spiritual testimony meeting and felt the love and bond that we had all established during the week.
-FRIDAY was absolutely beautiful. Of course it was the day that we were going home. It was nice to be able to have good weather to take down camp and load up to go home.
Here are some of the leaders and girls (and priesthood) making sure that there aren't any embers burning under all the ash. We had quite the blazing fire for testimony meeting.
All in all it was a great experience. I loved girls camp when I was in Young Womans and I loved going back despite all the talk of ticks, cold lakes, and creepy crawlies. It was so fun to get to know the young woman better and vise versa. I want to thank all the leaders that worked so hard to make this possible. I am so grateful for the friendships that we developed. I love you all.

I loved girls camp when I was growing up and I'm sure they all loved you! My testimony grew ao much when I was at girl's camp and it's great to watch that happen to the girls.
I bet you are a great leader in Y.W. I'm sure the girls just love you. Especially since you stayed with them in all the crazy weather. Sounds like fun
We are FOXY ladies. But I think it's a great reflection of how worn out we all were in the end. I'm going to save it for me, thank you very much.
