The Joys of Life...

I am sitting here watching Gabe's little imagination at work and started thinking about the 3 joys in my life that make everything better.

Gabe is growing up so fast and I can't believe that he is already 2 1/2. He loves to build BIG train tracks, play with his brother, play cars, run outside, touch random bugs (even got pinched by a preying mantis), watch movies, wrestle, pretend that he is serving food, sing and hum, and last, but not least he LOVES chocolate (I think he gets that from me). He is generally such a happy kid and loves to be involved in anything and everything that we are doing. He is such a cutie.

Noah is totally and completely LOVING preschool. I don't think he can get enough right now. We just have to keep that love of "school" in him till he graduates and goes off to college. :) He is just about to turn 4 and has expressed to us that for his birthday he wants to have a baseball cake and wants a trampoline. Hmm, really?? He loves to run fast, play baseball, play in the dirt, look at and pick things from the garden. He loves to go to primary and insists on walking down the hall on Sundays by himself. He doesn't want us to drop him off for some reason. He loves to watch movies, learn the definition of new words, play trains and cars, build spaceships, airplanes, pirate boats, and anything else he can with blocks. It really bugs him when he gets food on his hands or clothes and doesn't like it when mom and dad talk and he is not included in the conversation. He is growing up to be such a little man. I can't believe how time flies.

Paul is the absolute LOVE of my life and best friend. We grow closer every day and I am so lucky to have him as my husband. He is more than I could have ever asked for and he is the best dad in the world. He loves spending time with his family and playing with his 2 boys. He works so hard so that we can have all the things that we need. He takes such good care of me and tries to make me as comfortable as possible while being pregnant. He loves to stay up late and sleep in as well. He makes me laugh, smile, shout for joy, fills our home with the spirit and fills my heart with completeness and pure happiness.

I love my 3 boys and feel so lucky to have such sweet spirits in our home. I am so excited to add one more spirit and fill our home with more joy. I am feeling especially lucky today to have been so blessed by our Heavenly Father.

Hi Sarah - It is SO FUN to come and catch up with you and your sweet family. You do such a GREAT job capturing the essence of living. Treasured photographs, precious descriptive comments and music make it a total experience for me (almost as good as a phone call or being there, but not quite!)

I am sorry I missed your call on Sunday - I will try calling this week sometime.

I was just thinking of you and if you'd found out what you're having yet?? I guess you have a few more weeks before you find out. I swear everyone I know is pregnant, it's so fun!

I say ditto to your feelings!!! Of course, Paul isn't my husband, but I could not have picked a better one for you. You are very lucky. And the boys - what can I say? They are my grandsons!!!! I love you and your family and always enjoying spending time with all of you.
