The other day, for some reason, I was thinking about what was going on in March about 8 years ago. Don't really know why, but I thought I would jot down my thoughts and share some pics with you. It has been almost 10 years since I left to serve a mission in Uruguay. In Feb. of 2001 I returned home and about 3 weeks later I went to a mission reunion and saw Elder Hirschi (Paul) there. We chatted a little and rode back to Provo together with some other missionaries and I guess you can say that we "hit it off". Okay, okay, we flirted a little bit and about a week later he got my number from another missionary and called to ask me out.
So March 4th was the 8th anniversary of the Mission reunion and March 10th was the 8th anniversary of our first date. We've been together ever since. I never thought that 8 years after returning home I would be having my 3rd child, let alone with an Elder from my mission (whom I married 6 months after stepping off the plane).
(This is 6 months after we were married at my niece's (Shayne) blessing. I just thought the date was funny on this one. It was the day Carson (3-3-09) was born 7 years after this pic was taken. We had no idea what was coming back then.)
I can't believe how fast time flies. Here we are 8 years later and I love my husband and family more and more everyday. I feel so blessed to have them as a part of my life. Oh, don't get me wrong we have our challenges, but overcoming them together makes us stronger and the bond we have all that much greater.

What a valiant and beautiful missionary you were. And the dress at Shayne's baptism? the same one you wore for your mission picture!!!! Love you.
Wow! Life changes so quickly! Congrats again on the cute new little boy!
Can I just say that you are ridiculously cute!! I love the missionary pictures.
Even after all that you still look pretty much the same. You were such a fun companion. It looks like you probably are alot the same too, still fun and creative. Do you still make up songs?
