Day 4 of our trip started out a bit alarming (yes, pun intended). We were getting ready to go when the hotel fire alarm went off. Thinking that it was probably a drill we changed Carson's diaper and took our time getting out and going down the stairs since the doors to the elevator were shut and locked. Needless to say it was not a drill. We came outside to about 5-6 fire trucks, police cars, and firemen in full gear. We didn't see any smoke coming out anywhere, but someone told us that someone smelled something burning and pulled the alarm. It is always an adventure with the Hirschis. Besides the fire alarm, we started out the day with a nice 84 degrees. It felt good to be warm.
We hopped from park to park and rode anything and everything. Paul and I were able to go off by ourselves for a little bit and rode some rides that our boys were not aloud to ride. One of which was the Tower of Terror. We were chatting a little with the people behind us as we moved through the line and after about 45 minutes we finally were able to go into the building. As we did the guy we were talking to took off his sunglasses and we had no idea that this whole time we had been talking off and on with KIRK CAMERON. He was a teenage heart throb from the TV show Growing Pains in the 80's. I loved it. (He is a little older now.)
He is actually not very tall and is pretty skinny. His little girl Olivia was adorable. She was scared to go on the ride and I told her that she could scream along with me. She was cute. After lunch we headed over to DL and rode some rides with everyone else. After getting off of Splash Mtn. Noah took off looking for Grandma and was no where to be found. We couldn't find him for a good 5 minutes, but it felt like 20. It was comforting to know that he had a name tag on with our phone number, but we were still freaking out a little. I thought that if he couldn't find grandma he would come back to the ride and he did. I was so glad that my boy was safe. We met back up with everyone and ate dinner. Shortly after dinner we did one more ride on Pirates of the Carribean and I started having some major stomach issues. Without going into too much detail I now know where every bathroom is between Frontier land and Tomorrow land. The boys were able to watch the awesome fireworks, but unfortunate for me I had to hear them from the inside of the restroom. It was a bummer. (ha, ha). So we ended that day with a bang.
