It's your attitude, your attitude...
Lately I have been thinking a lot about relationships with other people, whether it be a friend, sister, daughter, mother, grandchild, brother, step-sibling, church leader, etc, etc. There are lots of things in this world that keep us from establishing GOOD relationships with people. We are too busy to do this or we can't talk to that person because what if they think we are weird or something. (A common one that goes on in my head because I am a little weird :).)
I feel that it doesn't make a difference what kind of relation you have to a person, in God's eyes we are all brothers and sisters and we should make an effort to love everybody. That doesn't mean that we have to like everything that everybody does or even agree with everything that everyone does, but we need to make an effort to keep a positive attitude and do the best that we can to help everyone feel like they are someone special. That is something that I am going to work on. How about you?
It's all in your attitude and perception of life. I am the only person that can choose what kind of outlook I have on life and what I need to improve on. I am the only one that can change myself, when needed, and support the people that I love (as long as they are willing to accept it) and live life to fullest. One of my favorite quotes is from Pres. Hinkley that reads: "In all of living have much fun and laughter. Life to be enjoyed not just endured."

So you fly in on Easter Sunday?? What airport are you flying into? LAX? We are totally around. Let me know your plans. Do you need a Sunday dinner or would you like us to meet you in a certain place? Asher is in school but I think we could pretend to be sick:))) We totally want to hook up:) I am excited. If you need to call so we can talk about it my number is still the same 801-787-2094
I totally agree with you. Actually I have been thinking about the same thing. I have to give a lesson this Sunday on Our Heavenly Family. I love you BECAUSE you are a little weird. I love your weirdness. I'm so proud of you as my daughter and the woman and mother you have become. I hope I had just a little bit to do with that.:) Isn't it odd to think that Mahatma Ghandi and Adolf Hitler and Nelson Mandela are your brothers? Hmmmm, just think about it.
